R&B Singer KEM Expecting Baby No. 8 with Wife Erica Owens

The Love Always Wins artist, 58, is expecting his eighth baby, his fifth with wife Erica Owens, sharing the happy news and pictures exclusively with PEOPLE. The pair previously welcomed four children together, and KEM has two daughters from a previous relationship, and Erica has one daughter from a previous relationship.

"Being a husband and a father continues to be the greatest blessing of my life," he tells PEOPLE.

The expectant mom also opens up to PEOPLE about the meaning of motherhood and her own gratitude for her journey.

"Motherhood has been such a meaningful journey for me, and I’m grateful," she says.

The "Love Calls" artist tells PEOPLE that he and his wife, who tied the knot in 2019, are looking forward to their next chapter.

"Erica and I are looking forward to welcoming another little miracle into our growing family," he says.

Echoing her husband's sentiments, Owens shares her excitement for the new addition to their family.

"My husband and I are excited for this next chapter," she tells PEOPLE. "Our family is already full of love for this little blessing.”
